Our Organic Journey
Who would have thought that a project for a college business class could turn into 12 year passion and journey to relentlessly pursue "the how". Born out of the desire to make a positive difference and fueled by the rage of a 20-year-old who "discovered" the correlations and conflicts of interest, coupled with revolving door policy makers, and their policies that plague our food and food distribution industry. A simple class project delivering "The Why".
In the not so distant past the way that we acquired and viewed our food supply and the additives (or lack thereof) included therein were worlds apart from the rules and regulations that exist today. Not to say that the leaps and bounds that have been made industry wide are all bad, but they also far from all good.
We have all seen one documentary or another so it should come as no surprise that traditional commercial row farming, commercial cattle and swine feedlots and commercial poultry houses aren't exactly a sustainable approach. More often than not they either contaminate or kill the soil rather than enriching and supporting a diverse microbiome. Pretty uncool.
